MM. Marc-André Disnard and Jean-François Lévesque join the Savoir-faire Linux teams in Quebec City and Montreal.
Graduated from polytechnique Montreal in 2001, Marc-André carried out various mandates of web programming, which enabled him to acquire a good expertise on Windows, Linux and Unix platforms. As a member of the polytechnique students association, he completed his experience as a system administrator by managing servers on Windows 2000/XP, Linux and OpenBSD.
Since 2001, Marc-André realized numerous web development projects for the Center for research on computation and its applications (CERCA) and polytechnique Montreal. Marc-André joined the team of Savoir-faire Linux in Quebec City to provide the provincial government with his expertise in PHP development and Linux systems administration.
In 2002, Jean-François began his studies in information engineering at polytechnique Montreal. During these 4 years, he spent its summers at iWeb Technologies to manage Linux servers, to deploy monitoring tools and to develop a web interface for servers configuration.
Within the polytechnique students association, Jean-François took in charge the management of the IT and Network Administration department. Jean-François arrived at Savoir-faire Linux in May 2006 to work on the development of iSAK, Internet Secure Access Kit, and to deploy Zabbix, network monitoring solution.
