Our environmental objectives for 2011 were to:

• Recycle and reuse 80% of ink-jet cartridges and toners. We have returned to manufacturers (HP and Brother) for reuse or recycling 100% of ink-jet cartridges and toners. Our objectives for 2012 is to maintain at 100%.

• 100% of the purchased paper is recycled paper. We have achieved our objective and plan on maintaining it for 2012.

• 100% of the discarded paper is used on the 2 sides before being recycled. We have achieved our objective and plan on maintaining it for 2012.

• Drop the monthly energy consumption from 300 KWh/pers to 200 KWh/pers. We have lowered our consumption to 212 KWh/pers. Our objective for 2012 stays the same.

• Drop the  monthly milage with polluting vehicles from 140 km/pers to 70 km/pers. We have lowered our monthly milage to 80 km/pers. Our objective for 2012 is to maintain it under 100 km/pers.

• Increase the recycling rate of waste from 75% to 90%. Our recycling rate has decreased to 69%. Our objective for 2012 is to get back to 75%.

• Decrease the monthly weight of waste from 4.5 Kg/pers to 3 Kg/pers. Our monthly weight of waste has increased to 6.2 kg/pers. Our objective for 2012 is to get back to 3Kg/pers.
