Savoir-faire Linux, a leader in open source software in Canada and Quebec is looking for 5 consultants specializing in Java technologies.

With strong analytical and communication skills, you have mastered the technological JAVA world. You will participate in the many projects as analysts, developers, integrators and project managers. Experience and enthousiasm for open source software will be a definite asset.

Position description

  • Position: Java Consultant and Developer
  • Starting date: ASAP
  • Annual wage: To be negotiated
  • Mobility: Yes
  • Type: Permanent
  • Location: Montreal
  • Languages: French and English

Responsibilities

  • Develop extensions for different solutions (portal applications, ETL connectors, REST services, plugins, mobile applications, etc ...)
  • Support the implementation of solutions with clients (configurations, customizations, integrations)
  • Participate in research and development: identify, evaluate, test, compare, integrate various solutions
  • Contribute to various open source projects
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer activities

  • Level of education: Master's or comparable

A plus : 

  • Web knowledge
  • Experience and interest for free and open source software (FOSS)
  • Expertise in the following areas:
    • ETL
    • Business process management and business rules (BPMS)
    • Modeling reports
    • Document management
    • Portal technologies, CMS
    • Business Intelligence (BI)
    • Management tools (CRM, ERP)
  • Expertise in the following solutions:
    • Liferay
    • Bonita / Intalio
    • Nuxeo / Alfresco
    • Talend / Kettle
    • SpagoBI / Pentaho
    • BIRT / JasperReports
