Position description

  • Position title: Python web developer and consultant
  • Job type: Full time
  • Start-date: Now
  • Location: Montreal or Quebec City (Really nice place to stay!)
  • Annual salary: To be discussed
  • Spoken-languages: English and French

Responsibilities

  • Web development in Python with dynamic teamates!
  • Consulting, training, interactions with the clients
  • Existing application maintenance and updates
  • Project management

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in web development (HTML/CSS/JS)
  • Great experience with scripting languages, ideally Python and PHP
  • MVC framework knowledge (Pyramid, Pylons, Django, Rails, Symfony, etc.)
  • Ability to master object-oriented concepts
  • Interest in new technology trends
  • BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent

Assets

  • Capacity to translate client needs into great interfaces and effective pieces of code
  • Involvement in the FLOSS ecosystem
  • Experience with GPL/Linux OS
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum) development
  • Skills in system-administration
